America’s expeditionary and amphibious operations force can trace its roots back to two battalions of Continental Marines that were formed in November of 1775, as a service branch of infantry troops capable of fighting both at sea and on shore. A component of the Navy, the USMC operates installations on land and aboard sea-going amphibious warfare ships around the world. Although they were center on the Global Stage during the Pacific Campaign of WWII, the Marine Corps has continued its pursuit of excellence while expanding its capabilities.
Today the men and women of the U.S. Marine Corps continue to show that regardless where they are, they are the most resilient and innovative military force in the world. It’s clear that a steady diet of crayons has served them well. At U.S. Patriot, we take pride in serving those who serve us.
