In terms of durability, the pants are constructed using their innovative blend of Cordura NYCO Tactical nylon blend, meaning they’ll survive much more than your average bumps and scrapes. Plus, the fabric is no-melt and no-fade. We said innovative for a reason. This material didn’t exist until 5.11 specifically engineered it for this line.
To add even more toughness, the pants are finished with Teflon and lined with Kevlar Interlock. And for some added insurance, the pants also come with articulated knee pads that fit the 5.11’s ENDO.K internal knee pads.
When it comes to storage, we haven’t read a review or experienced for ourselves how well constructed and designed the pockets are. Believe us when we say, each pocket was designed with purpose. The cargo, rear, and lower leg pockets have magnetic closure for easy access and each front pocket comes with a Cordura nylon knife reinforcement. That’s 16 total pockets for storage.
