If you have someone on your gift list who puts as much thought into their next pair of boots as most people put into buying a car, then you need to pick up a pair of Garmont Coyote Tan T8 Bifida boots. These boots are built from the sole to the top lace with comfort and durability in mind. The rugged design complies with AR670-1 requirements while still providing the protection and comfort many issued footwear lacks. Split-grain & DD grid uppers, Vibram Bifida soles and custom insoles & foot cups make these one of the best new boots on the market and an excellent choice for under your tree.

You never want to think of a loved one getting hurt, but you also understand that they work in dangerous environments where self-sacrifice is a day to day possibility. Tourniquets have become a standard issue piece of equipment and you should make sure your warrior or sheepdog has at least one of their own. Why waste time with cheap imitations or the “latest design” when you can have a battle tested original – the C-A-T. This is the tourniquet designed for the U.S. Army and now available for civilian use and includes a reinforced windless, red “rip strip” to add with fast application and is proven effective.

Even a hardened warrior needs some down time, and if someone on your list likes to get away from it all and spend some time in the back country then they need a quality personal shelter when they do. The Snugpak Ionosphere is lightweight and compact enough to make transportation effortless but solid enough in its construction to provide season after season of dependability in even the worse conditions. At only 17” x 5.25” (pack size) and 2.64 lbs (trail weight), the personal shelter is never going to cause the pace to slow. With a PU coated fly and fully treated seams even a driving rain will seem like a light mist. Alloy stakes and NSL anodized poles are both durable and easy to assemble in the field. But if something unforeseen does happen, each tent comes equipped with a field repair kit for DIY fixes on the go.
