Nine Line Foundation receives funds raised by Tailgate for Troops
Savannah, GA – Tailgate for Troops was founded with the goal of supporting those who serve or have served in our military, as well as to collect donations for a designated nonprofit organization that aids veterans. This year’s tailgate will benefit the Nine Line Foundation, a 100% nonprofit organization founded by Nine Line Apparel CEO, CPT Tyler Merritt, which, among other things, builds handicap accessible homes for our nation’s most severely wounded veterans.
Every year, fans look forward to one of the biggest rivalries in college football, and a head to head face off for bragging rights between the Army Black Knights vs. the Navy Midshipmen. Thousands of veterans, active duty military, and football fans converge for Gameday for a weekend of tailgating, banter, and camaraderie. Seats are highly coveted, and tickets are in high demand – many who cannot get tickets to the game come just for the party – and the Tailgate for Troops is the biggest and the best. This year’s partners include Service Brewing Company, Black Rifle Coffee Company, Barstool Radio, and more.
“We’re really honored to be this year’s recipient. It’s a great organization and an awesome event,” said CPT Merritt, who will be working at this year’s Tailgate alongside his staff and his wife, Angela.
