Top EDC Items You Should Have

We all have those essential items that we designated as the “everyday carry” items whether they are actually essential to everyday needs, or just some sh*t to make you feel cool. Load your pockets or not these items are worth mentioning to fill your EDC list.

KeyBar

KeyBar is the solution to all those loose keys you have clanking like a cowbell. Made of G10, Aluminum, Carbon Fiber, Brass, Copper or Titanium these things are built to last. The awesome thing about it too is that you have the option to add all kinds of accessories to create a multitool style piece of equipment. Three standards screw sizes that are included allow for up to 12 keys while you can buy even longer screws that would allow for up to 28 keys. The accessory line up for purchase is pretty extensive too, D2 tool steel pry bar, mini box cutter, pick, fork, stowaway tools, 5.56 NATO Dagger toolset, flash drive, bottle opener, quick key tab, toothpick/tweezer set, Keyrabiner, deep carry clip, and a titanium comb. This will solve all kinds of issues, especially for those that carry a key ring reminiscent of a jailhouse set. The KeyBar also comes in different colors and designs.

Gerber Ghostrike Fixed Blade Knife

(Gerber Ghostrike Fixed Blade Knife)

At an overall length of 6.9 inches, the Ghoststrike is perfect for a backup concealed blade. The blade sits a 3.3 inch and is made of 420HC. The handle is a rubber over mold. The best part, with the included sheath the package sits at 3.9 ounces. There is also a deluxe version that features a neoprene ankle strap.

SOG Escape Knife

This is one that I carry personally. Weighing in at 4.8 ounces and 8.2 inches in length overall (4.8 inches closed, 3.4-inch blade length) it is one of my favorite blades I have owned and honestly just the right amount of everything for EDC. The handle is made of anodized 6061-T6 aluminum and the blade is made of 9Cr18MoV a high carbon chromium bearing steel. While it is a manual opening blade it gets the job done. A seatbelt cutter is built into the handle along with a window punch and SOG patent-pending wire strippers.

G-Shock G-9000MS-1CR Mudman

(G-Shock Mudman)

Another carry of mine. This watch is minimalistic, with just the right amount of bells and whistles. Featuring 5 alarms, hourly time signal, flash alert, 1/100 sec stopwatch, countdown timer, full auto calendar, 12/24-hour formats and red lighting for low light situations when you need to be discrete.
