SHOT Show 2016 Coverage

SHOT Show is the annual event that marks many things in the gun industry, but best of all it’s the time that all the latest and greatest guns and gear congregate in one building. Last year we brought you SHOT coverage of everything from guns to knives to SEALs, and this year will be even better.

Shot ShowNowadays, SHOT is always held in Sin City which is an interesting choice. It’s hosted as usual by the NSSF (National Shooting Sports Foundation) and attended by somewhere around 80,000 people. Attendees include gun store owners, those in military and law enforcement-related businesses, professional hunters and tv hosts, and of course, outdoor writers such as myself. There are many, many trips throughout the year but SHOT is the one you just cannot miss (not that you’d want to).

This week I’ll be bringing you on-the-spot SHOT coverage of new products from a variety of companies. I’ll also be chatting with some of the attendees we think you might be interested in hearing from. Let us know what you’re interested in hearing about (if you’d like to take the really direct approach you can email me at ainsworth.kat@usa.com).

It’s SHOT week. Are you ready?
