Hillary Clinton: It’s Time We Do Better

Hillary Clinton, once again, is being questioned about the legality of her actions. She has been involved in scandals that date back to the 1970s and shows no signs of slowing down. In the most recent years, she has been connected to the Benghazi disgrace that resulted in several Americans being killed at the American embassy in Benghazi.

The Benghazi issue is still at Clinton’s front door. Emails were sent from her personal account that pertain to State Department business, which is not permitted by law. After trying to keep these emails out of court for some time, it appears they may be seeing the light of day by a judge.

Before this all happened, she was in a court room being questioned, where she made some terrible remarks in regards to those who lost their lives attempting to defend the embassy. Because of these comments and her actions while being questioned, she was held in contempt of court.

Despite all of this, there are people out there that believe she should be president. Why? Why are we even still allowing her to have anything to do with American politics? Why is she not in jail? Why is she still allowed to disrupt and degrade the American system?

As time goes on, we become more and more tolerant of politicians lying and cheating. We turn a blind eye to the misdeeds of those who are elected to serve us. Hillary is a clear example of this. Time and time again, she is implicated in scandals and crimes, yet she finds her way into political seat after political seat.

Not just with Hillary Clinton, but with it all. We need to stop endorsing people like her that lie to the people, cheat them, and get them killed. We need to stop supporting politicians that lie to the court and display a complete disregard for rules and laws, showing no remorse for their actions. The job of an elected or appointed official is to serve the people of this nation in a manner that is best for the nation as a whole. This is a trusted role that needs to be performed with pride, honesty, and regard for the people. Politicians who consistently lie to the court, hide facts, and distort the past do not live up to those expectations and should be shown the door, if not imprisoned.

Those who behave as Hillary has time and again should not still be considered political leaders. They should not be given a thought as to what their next job should be. They have proven themselves to be unworthy of nation’s history and unfit for our nation’s future. It is scary that Hillary Clinton has made this far in politics, but is not too late to put a stop to her actions. It is time that we stop supporting those who behave like Hillary, red or blue. It is time that we start looking for those who have a history a public servitude performed with honor and dedication to the American people. It is time that we stop even giving Hillary and her kind a passing thought.
