Thanksgiving means many things to different people, but at its core, it’s a day of joining together as a family and giving thanks for all the blessings in life. It’s usually filled with traditions, laughter, and delicious homecooked meals.
The expectations, memories, and separation from family can make this holiday very difficult for deployed military members. Thousands of our troops spend Thanksgiving away from their families and many miles from home.
At US Patriot, we would like to recognize these individuals, and call attention to their situation by helping them have the best Thanksgiving possible. To do this, we would like to highlight some outstanding organizations whose mission is to connect the appreciation of Americans at home to the Americans serving our country.
