SHOT Show, the Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show, starts this coming Monday, January the 19th, and US Patriot Tactical will be bringing you daily coverage from the event where it takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is SHOT’s 36th year, and there are 65,000 attendees expected from all over the United States as well as from 100 countries. Also in attendance will be 2,500 members of the media. So, what’s SHOT all about?
At SHOT members of the shooting, hunting, military and law enforcement industries get an up close and personal look at what’s new for 2015. It’s an opportunity to see new firearms and gear as well as a chance to speak directly to company reps, and this year USP readers will get their own exclusive look at some of what’s hitting the market in the coming months. Monday is Industry Day at the Range, which is an invitation-only event that gives some members of the media a chance to get some trigger time with the newest firearms as well as take a look at some gear on non-shooting lanes. Range day has now expanded to include an afternoon segment for non-media attendees. Tuesday through Friday are the days covering the event itself, with over 1,600 exhibitors showcasing their products at the Sands Expo center in a space spanning 600,000 square feet.
This coming week, from Monday the 19th to Friday the 23rd, visit the US Patriot Tactical blog for daily coverage of new products via SHOT. We encourage you to leave comments and feedback regarding what you’d most like to see. If you want to follow SHOT, keep an eye on the blog throughout the week.
Author’s note: I will be in Las Vegas covering SHOT Show 2015 this coming week and look forward to sharing the coming year’s latest and greatest gear with you all. Please do let me know what you’re interested in via the comments, and if you’re in attendance, I’ll see you there!
